Ambedkar Jayanti, Mahavir Jayanti and Good Friday Celebrated in Aditya School
admin2022-08-09T12:38:02+00:00Students of Aditya English Medium School celebrated Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, Mahavir Jayanti and Good Friday with great enthusiasm. We honour Dr Ambedkar’s countless contributions in the making of present-day India. Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated to remember the jurist’s dedication in fighting social evils like caste discrimination and oppression.Students paid their tribute to Dr. B.R.Ambedkar by giving speeches on his life which he did for the betterment of our society. Principal of AEMS – Mrs. Deepali Shirgave Ma’am addressed the students regarding the preachings of Mahavir – ahimsa or non-violence, satya (truth), asteya (non-stealing), brahmacharya (chastity) and aparigraha (non-attachment).
Kiran Ma’am explained the importance of Good Friday.
Good Friday commemorates Jesus Christ’s crucifixion. Christians observe the day by fasting and attending church services or re-enactments of Jesus Christ’s last hours.
