Marathi Rajbhasha Din Celebrated in Aditya School

*Marathi Rajbhasha Din* is celebrated annually to commemorate the birth anniversary of famous Dnyanpeeth award winner poet, ‘kusumagraj’ on 27th February. To promote Maharashtrian culture among students, Aditya English Medium school has celebrated this day in traditional manner. Event was graced by honorable chief guest, Mrs Rohini Dhankude mam, Secretary of AEMS Mr. Viraj Dhankude sir, CEO Mrs. Sushma Bhosale mam, principal Mrs Deepali Shirgave mam. The ceremony was opened with the inauguration of Marathi books which were made by our students on various topics. This celebration has given an opportunity to the students to showcase their creative skills & knowledge through various activities like traditional dance forms, recitation of poems & speeches.Ballad song on Shivchhatrapati Shivaji caught the attention of audience.Granth Dindi was conducted by the students across the campus which highlighted Marathi art , culture & traditions amidst the energetic sound of ‘ lazim & tal ‘ played by students. The function was more enhanced with student’s & teacher’s traditional attire of Maharashtrian navvari saree & dhoti kurta. Our beloved principal mam sang Marathi song Mogra Phulala written by *Sant Dyneshwar* which flavoured the event. It was educational, learning & fun full day for the AEMS students.
