Children’s Day 2024 celebrated in Aditya School
admin2024-11-30T07:06:41+00:00Children’s Day, or Bal Diwas, is celebrated every year on 14th November in India. This special day coincides with the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister, who was fondly called ‘Chacha Nehru’ by children.
On Children’s Day at Aditya English Medium School, Baner, Pune, the celebrations were full of joy and excitement. The Secretary -Mr. Viraj Dhankude Sir, The Treasurer- Mr. Rahul Dhankude Sir, and Principal, Mrs. Rekha Kale Ma’am garlanded Jawaharlal Nehru’s portrait along with a student representatives. A bagless day was organized to relieve students’ stress and lighten their workload. Students from grades 1 to 4 participated enthusiastically in table recitation, while a motivational movie was shown to the primary students. For grades 5 to 9, a math quiz with three rounds was conducted, along with enrichment activities like storytelling, word search, and bookmark making led by subject teachers. Students enjoyed the day thoroughly, making it a memorable celebration.
