Dussehra celebrations in India represent the victory of good over evil. Celebrating festivals is an integral part of learning at the primary level. Through such celebrations, students not only learn the significance of the festival but also learn to embrace other traditions and cultures just like their own. As we know, Dussehra is an important Indian festival celebrated on the tenth day of the month of Ashwin according to the Hindu calendar. The occasion marking the victory of Lord Rama over the evil king, Ravana, reinforced the message of the triumph of good over evil. Aditya Pre-School and Aditya English Medium School celebrated Dussehra by worshipping Goddess Saraswati and exchanging Apta leaves.
