Navratri Celebration in Aditya School

“India is known as a land of festivals and celebration, Navratri is one of them which is unique in its perception and significance.” Festivals are a period of celebration and bring peace and joy to everyone. They are an expressive way to celebrate glorious heritage, culture, and traditions.
To enhance that among our little ones, Aditya English Medium School celebrated Navratri with great spirit, enthusiasm and fun. The celebration started by offering prayers to Goddess Navdurga and seeking blessings to protect everyone from evil. The speeches taught students the importance of the nine days of Navratri. Girls dressed up in chaniya cholis and boys in churidar kurtas, preschoolers of AEMS also celebrated Navratri. Students and teachers swayed on the mellifluous music, and rhythmic beats & matched the mood of festivity on Garba and dandiya songs. They also danced using their colorful dandiya sticks.
Being a diverse country, through such celebration, students not only learn the significance behind the festival but also learn to embrace other’s traditions & culture just like their own.
